BIO
Nate Husser first started his ever-growing career in the heart of Montreal’s Little Burgundy with his acclaimed hip-hop trio, The Posterz. After breaking out as a solo act in 2017, Husser carved out his enigmatic sound, etching a trifecta of story-telling through sound, lyric and visuals.
A performer through and through, Husser’s vibrantly mystifying energy has been seen on many stages, including: NXNE, Osheaga, International Jazz Fest, Mural Fest, Igloofest, YouTube’s Night Market, and CBC’s First Play Live. This same enthusiastic, jovial, and gritty verve has been captured in his most recent five-track EP, Adult Supervision Required, set to release throughout Spring/Summer 2020.
Bringing the tale of a rose from concrete to life, Husser’s story is one of adversity and resilience. From the roughs of Little Burgundy to international stages, Nate has won numerous awards for his musical talent and vision as an artist such as Video of the Year, as well as Anglophone Artist of the Year at the 2018 Gala Dynastie.
Huss’s unique personality and daring, artistic flair has also been featured in various international publications such as The Source, XXL Mag, The FADER, Complex, Red Bull Music, Earmilk, and Noisey, and has collaborated with artists of the likes of Charlotte Cardin, Eva Shaw, Thouxanbanfauni, Black Tiger Sex Machine and the Moonshine Collective.
